One year ago, my wife and I each were working full time jobs. Under conviction that time is short, and that God wants us to share what He has given us; earnest prayers went up that God would make a way to deliver us from the smothering world system, so that we could direct our attention to His service above all else. By February we had left our jobs (still not knowing), and were led to this place of sharing through Heed the Watchman. Financial pressures are now forcing our return to the workplace, making time for this website quite scarce. Remember us in your prayers. We look forward to hearing from you. We pray that your day will be blessed in the Lord. --Yours in Christ; Andy and Jamie P.S.—In explanation to you, please realize that we are not an officially registered non-profit organization. We had reservations about the worldliness of this whole system. When we did look into the process, we found that start up and first year fees were over $4,200! (Compared to business registration, which is under $500). This seemed to confirm how unrighteous this worldly system really is. Jesus instructed us to pay our taxes (Matthew 22:17-21)! He also told us not to do our alms before men (Matthew 6:1-4). In faith, we have therefore decided not to become a non-profit organization. We believe that the Holy Spirit led people of the Lord will give as God directs, without this affiliation.  |
